WEBSITE
MAINTENANCE |
 |
Unlike a printed brochure or newspaper advertisement, a website
is an evolving communication. We will work with you to put a
plan in place for updating and enhancing the content of your
website on a regular basis. |
|
|
|
Some websites are best updated on a quarterly basis, some monthly,
some weekly. We will help you ensure the content remains up-to-date
and of interest to your customers. |
|
As the website gains popularity, we can help you enhance the content
as required. A website becomes more complex as it evolves, consequently
more elaborate graphics and techniques may highlight the appearance
of your website and the navigation through it. If you see something
you like, let us know. We will help you in evaluating potential
improvements in the website presentation. |
|
Some businesses consider having their website maintained in-house.
It has been our experience that the staff training and subsequent
follow-up is more time-consuming and less efficient than having
a specialist maintain your website. The content of your site is
protected when only one person knows the password and can make changes.
Staff turnovers are not a problem. Staff workload is not a problem.
We also recognize that when you want to have a change made, you
want to have that change made immediately. In our office, updating
and maintenance of each website receives priority. If a change is
requested on Monday, that change will appear on your website on
Monday, 98% of the time. |
| It is important that you consider the maintenance of your website
when preparing your internet marketing budget. A website that is not
updated regularly is a website few visitors will return to. Changes
do not have to be overwhelming, nor elaborate. We will work with you
to develop a maintenance plan that works for you. |
| If your business or organization is not committed to keeping the
website current and up-to-date, you should probably think long and
hard to determine if you really need a website at all. |
A website can work for many years, however, complete
website redesign should be considered every two or three years. To
keep pace with your competitors, to help your customers realize you
are progressing and improving, or to let your distributors, sponsors,
and clients feel they are part of a growing and innovative operation
... all great reasons for doing a complete redesign. You put out new
colour brochures every year or so, your newspaper ads are different
with each placement; it only makes sense to put a new feel or mood
to your internet "brochure" too. When you're ready for a
complete overhaul, just let us know and we'll be there to help with
your new plans.
