God Bless and be inspired!

Please give me a shout via my handy contact form if you found this page inspiring. I went through a lot of work and am proud of how this page came together. It is always nice to see when someone gives you a "atta boy" for your efforts.

This page will inspire you with practical scripture from the Lord and a explanation. I include one verse for every day of the year. Thanks to Robert H. Schuller and a book called "Tough Minded Faith for Tender Hearted People".

Experiencing impossibilities
“Your sun shall no longer go down Nor shall you moon withdraw itself for the Lord will be your everlasting light.”
ISAIAH 60:10

Is it possible to live where the sun never sets? Yes, northern Sweden is the land of the “midnight sun” When you experience something that you always assumed was an impossibility you can be sure you’ve been believing! Faith is the practice which allows for the impossibility of apparent impossibilities to become actual scientific realities. Walking the walk of faith is the attitude of keeping you mind open to new possibilities that only God knows about! Today, O God I am going to keep an open mind to experience some new surprises of spiritual growth. Today, I am going to believe that the impossible really is possible! Amen

Rising above depressing situations
“To whom then will you liken Me.. Lift up your eyes on high And see who has created these things….”
ISAIAH 40:25-26

What do you do when the analysis of your condition leads to a depressing diagnosis? What do you do when your doctor tell you that you have an incurable disease? You practice Faith! You rise above the depressing attitudes and situations. Lock in you mental attitude with positive thinking and allow your mind to float upward by the invisible silent escalating flow of the spirit of faith which only the eternal God can give.

Scaling the wall
“For by You I can run against a troop By my God I can leap over a wall.”
SAMUEL 22:30

You have heard about those incredible incidents where an average human being exhibits superhuman strength in an emergency situation. It’s a frequently recurring phenomenon. Do you know how strong you are? Do you know how high you can jump? We really don’t know. The will is more important that the “skill” when it comes to scaling that wall, that impossible obstruction. You will not fail to scale the wall. “By my God I can leap over a wall.” Break wide open with big-thinking belief and –away you go!

Dividing to conquer
Look the Lord your God has set the land before you, go up an possess it, as the Lord God…has spoken to you, do not fear or be discouraged.”
DEUTERONOMY 1:21

I learned many years ago that one large problem is really a collection of many little problems. The way to tackle an impossible problem is to break it down and solve the several little problems one at a time. You tackle each one until only one stubborn problem remains. Now all attention is focused on this remaining obstacle and the breakthrough happens! You have divided and conquered the total problem one chunk at a time. Part of the problem is a decision you need to make. Part of the problem is your lack of patience. Part of the problem is your negative attitude. Part of the problem is your preoccupation with yourself Your can handle all of these parts of the problems. Right!

Challenging the negative judgment
“There are many who say Who will show us any good? Lord lift up the light of Your countenance upon us.”
PSALM 4:6

Many problems continue to remain unsolved because negative-thinking experts say, “It can’t be done.” When the Second World War came alone there was a shortage of warriors. In the emergency farmers from Iowaa and Nebraska were drafted. We put them in a cockpit and in a matter of days taught them to fly and airplane. We never bothered to teach them aeronautical engineering. With a few victories, they were promoted to officers, Well these uneducated officers got together and decided we ought to focus our energies on developing a jet engine that could fly faster than sound. They did it. Because they didn’t know it couldn’t be done. God doesn’t know the meaning of impossible. That’s what faith is all about.

Analyzing inquisitively
“Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it.”
PROVERBS 16:22

Stop and analyze the creative people who have been responsible for big breakthroughs and made distinctive contributions in the world. You will find that each has an inquisitive nature. If you are having problems with your faith perhaps you need to be more inquisitive. Can you see how widely the poison of negative thinking has penetrated our culture: How often have you and I been heard saying, “Curiosity killed the cat”? In fact curiosity has been responsible for many scientific achievements and medical breakthroughs! The inquisitive nature of the human being is a God implanted impulse, designed to entice us down the road of faith toward exciting progress. Analyze God himself . You’ll be surprised how this can be the beginning of new growth in a maturing religious consciousness. The possibility thinker who pursues this inquisitive nature is the one who will find the buried treasure.

Actualizing your positive fantasies
“Your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.”
JOEL 2:28

I once did a study of those great people we call “geniuses” I observed a recurring quality in them- the amazing quality of positive, childlike fantasizing, Great people are intuitive and imaginative. They have the capacity to let their minds fly into wild and wonderful flights of fantasy. It was said of Walt Disney that he never stopped being a little boy. Faith is actualizing positive fantasies. Positive people will intuitively respond to your positive dreams. Encouragement will come from places and people you least expect. Believe in your positive fantasies and you will begin to actualize them.
