| Canada Web Hosting: Scheduled Toronto Datacenter Move
As part of its effort to continually improve the quality
of its service, Canada Web Hosting has opened new, state-of-the-art
data space at 151 Front Street in downtown Toronto and is
closing its facilities at 1 Yonge Street (Toronto Star Building).
All shared, private and dedicated hosting clients now being
served from 1 Yonge Street will be transferred to 151 Front
Street. During this scheduled datacenter move you can expect
a period of downtime as physical servers are shut down, transferred
the short distance to 151 Front Street and brought back online.
The move will be done in stages so we do not expect that service
will be disrupted for the entire length of the scheduled move.
The scheduled datacenter move in Toronto will occur:
Start: July 1st, 2005 9:00PM EST
End: July 2nd, 2005 3:00AM EST
Please Note: Canada Web Hosting will continue to use the
same backbone networks and IP blocks that it currently uses
and, as a result, the move will be seamless from a networking
point of view.
If you require further information regarding this move, please
contact our technical support number at 1-877-587-2771.
